Ozzie’s Above and Beyond Fundraiser
Conro & Sons, a community-driven organisation, has successfully concluded a heartfelt fundraiser to support a brave young boy named Ozzie, who has been battling multiple challenging medical conditions, including Cutis Aplasia, Nail Patella Syndrome, Clubfoot, and Arthrogryposis. Ozzie's family had been on an arduous journey to find the right medical care for their son, and their determination led them to a specialist in America who agreed to see Ozzie in his clinic in Warsaw, Poland.
Nail Patella Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder, presented a unique challenge for Ozzie and his family. Finding a doctor with specialised knowledge of this condition had been a long and painstaking process. After months of extensive research, they discovered a doctor in the United States who could provide the expertise required to help Ozzie lead a better life.
The appointment in Poland, which takes place on 12th October of this year, represented a ray of hope for Ozzie and his family. While there may be no cure for these disabilities, there is hope in the form of treatments and surgeries that can greatly improve Ozzie's quality of life. The family's dedication to seeking out the best possible care for their son was truly inspiring.
The Conro & Sons fundraiser aimed to assist Ozzie and his family in their quest to obtain the vital medical care he needed. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the local community and people from around the world, the fundraiser successfully raised the necessary funds to cover expenses related to flights, accommodation, and Ozzie's medical treatment in Poland.
